Our method is deliberately narrow and fully checkable: - We compile every specification the manufacturer actually publishes, cited and dated per product. - Where a manufacturer does not publish a spec, we print "Not published". None of the five chillers we compare published a rated wattage. One of five published a cooling capacity in BTU. Extending the survey to infrared sauna blankets on 2026-07-23: of ten listings read, **none published a wattage at all**, three published the blanket's dimensions and one published a warranty term. Extending it again to cold plunge water treatment on 2026-07-24: of the four treatment bottles compared, **only one names an active ingredient or publishes a concentration** — and it is a plain food-grade hydrogen peroxide not marketed as a cold plunge product. The three sold specifically for cold plunges describe their contents only as "formulated with effective ingredients", "professional-grade" and "without harsh chemicals". Extending it once more to portable saunas on 2026-07-26: of the six compared, five publish a wattage but only four publish their assembled dimensions or a maximum temperature — and several tents sold as "infrared sauna tents" actually ship a steam generator, a labeling error the page corrects by classifying every unit by how it truly heats.
