Infrared saunas are unusually forgiving on value, because the thing you are buying — radiant heat in a hemlock box — is broadly similar across the price range. The heat is comparable, the wood is often identical, and every indoor cabin here runs on a standard 120V outlet with no electrician. So what you pay more for is usually a second seat, a brand name, or a fuller spec sheet — not fundamentally better sauna.

Published wattage first. It is the number that decides whether the cabin plugs into your wall, and it is the honesty test for the whole listing. A cabin that states its watts is one you can plan around; a cabin that hides them is asking you to trust it on the one spec that matters for installation. Reward the ones that tell you.

Then the plug.Every indoor cabin here that states its draw runs on a standard 120V outlet at roughly 10–13A — no 240V circuit and no electrician. That is the whole value proposition of infrared over a traditional sauna, so do not throw it away by buying a unit whose voltage you cannot confirm. The one exception is the 1,500W two-person cabin, which draws enough that it wants its own 20A receptacle.

Then size, honestly.The best-value cabins here are one-person units with a tight footprint. If one person is all you need, that is money saved, not a compromise. If you want two seats or room to lie back, you will pay more — so measure your space and decide how many people actually use it before you pay for a size you will not fill.
